Its pretty cool to see a massive luxury car maker get serious about the environment. This young team chosen by Bentley have built a concept electric car. Its mainly being used for racing at the moment, obviously with no real plans yet to move it into full scale production - it doesn’t really look like your typical Bentley.

What is pretty cool about this electric car is its specs. The car uses carbon fibre as its main chassis material, as it is both light and strong this will help to keep the car competitive in its racing. An interesting side point was that its budget was initially 5000 pounds, but it ballooned to an enormous 80,000!

How cool would it be to be part of this design team! Our Yeah its Pretty Cool designer would’ve loved the oppotunity to be a part of this project. We think its a testiment to true design by building a cool car that is actually beneficial to the environment. That is what makes this design so cool.

Is this a pretty cool car or a pretty cool motorbike? Well, technically its a trike, but who really cares, because it looks absolutely awesome! This machine is on limited runs, but everyone wants one because of how cool it is. Would I use one everyday? If it is as cool to drive as it looks, then I would have to say yes. Unfortunately, we here at Yeah, its Pretty Cool can’t afford one and I doubt any of us would ever get the chance to drive one.

But at least we can drool over the specs:

At Yeah its Pretty Cool, we know this has been out for a while, but its worth noting how something so plain and normal (eg. the regular smart car) which was never meant to be a performance machine - can be flipped by some pretty cool people, into something that is pretty awesome!
