Now this is a fantastic idea! If you own a bunch of USB devices and are forever trying to remember which ones are full to capacity, these guys here have found a cool idea on how to solve that problem.

These devices come in a range of shapes and sizes, from balloons to handbags to even a SpongeBob Squarepants replica. But that isn’t the only reason why you should get one. As you fill up the device and it slowly becomes closer to being filled, it grows in size. The larger it is, the more likely there is no space left on the drive.

We think its a really unique idea and a cool novelty present for friends (especially the nerdy ones). However the only problem I see with owning one of these, especially for Apple Mac owners, is how much room they will take on the side of the computer. If you had the balloon one for example, if you had other devices placed in the same USB hub, will it try to push them out, etc.

Ed Lewis has done some cool custom speakers made from everybody’s favorite trendy vinyl toys. Not only has he gone ahead and done it, but he has gone and done a step by step tutorial on how to do it yourself. That is true coolness!

We have always thought those little vinyl toys are cool, and there are thousands of custom toys kicking around. When we get some time, we plan on doing some for our site, that you can purchase online.

But if you made some of these and put them on your desk at your office or home study, you would definitely have the coolest speakers going round. Go make some now!

When we cam across this cool little robot, we couldn’t pass up posting it. It’s pretty cool because it samples cool sounds from around the house. This pretty cool robot cruises around finding custom sound samples which it records. Then it takes the custom sound it finds and turns it into a little drum beat. When it gets “bored” with it, it goes searching for the next cool sound. This custom robot is one of the most interesting things we have found so far. We doubt it would be pretty cool if it was made into a toy. Image your kids running around with a robot making noises from around the house. It would probably drive you insane!
