Pretty Cool Motorbike – The Uni Electric Motorcycle

18 year old Ben Gulak has really extended himself to create one pretty cool motorcycle. He took the principles of the Segway scooter, and merged the style of a motorbike, into probably the worlds coolest electric form of transportation.

This project hopes to get him enrolled in MIT, and we here at Yeah its Pretty Cool think that if he doesn’t get a letter after this performance, we don’t know what will. I think the greatest thing besides it being environmentally friendly is the fact that he is a teenager, and he developed this through a teenagers eyes. The extremely cool looks of his motorcycle makes it much more accessible to younger people, and they are the ones that are looking for new innovations in transport.
And with the cost of fuel escalating, young people are going to be starting to look at new ways to get around. And there is no reason why Ben Gulak’s pretty cool motorcycle shouldnt be their first product to consider. Surely this can go into production!

Looks unstable, did you think of wind? Excelleration will also cause you to lose balance. And the wheel looks heavy, I assume it takes some power to turn that wheel.
On the whole, a good invention. Congratulations. However I would consider some sort of stabalisers, and a revision in the comfort area.

that wouldn’t even work. How would it turn? It doesnt even look safe. The gyro itself would waste all the power just to keep it up. A bad photoshop image aint gonna get you to MIT, just a bit of money will… good luck

@ Bike Lover – there are 2 wheels, and you dont acccelerate like a regular bike. you lean forward and it goes,l like a segway electric scooter.and it doesnt look like he’s moving there, so he was trying to keep his balance, once moving, it would probably be pretty comfy.
